He has excelled in numerous areas of practice, including auxiliary prosecutor, trial prosecutor, trial judge, and appellate judge for criminal sentences in the Judicial Branch of Costa Rica. Additionally, he has been a university professor of criminal law at the Universidad de San José and a specialized judicial trainer at the Judicial School of Costa Rica, training other professionals in the field.
